On 10th September, TSAA hosted a dinner celebrating the centenary of the birth of Mr B A (Bob) Santamaria, an important figure in the political history of Australia. Mr Santamaria was the son of immigrants from the Aeolian Islands, Sicily.
It proved to be a most interesting evening, with his son, Paul Santamatia, QC, speaking of the many facets of his father’s life. The evening was accompanied as always by some fine food at Mezzo Restaurant.
