TSAA is pleased to inform you that one of its members, Dr. Francesco Giacobbe, has been elected to the Italian Senate as a representative of the estero region which includes Australia. TSAA looks forward to working with Senator Giacobbe to promote the Sicilian culture and all things Sicilian generally.
TSAA would also like to acknowledge the effort of another of its members Teresa Restifa in standing for election for the Camera dei Deputati (lower house) in the same election. Although Teresa was not successful TSAA applauds her endeavour.
