About TSAA
The Association aims to expand the awareness of Sicilian Culture in Australia for Sicilians, and for lovers of “All Things Sicilian.”
Apart from a dedicated promotion of Sicilian culture, the Association intends to work with existing Institutions and clubs in Australia and overseas to further the sharing of culture, knowledge and foster collaborative events and opportunities.
The Objectives of TSAA are:
- To foster and promote awareness of Sicilian culture for the benefit of present and future generations.
- To recognize the contribution of Sicilian influence to the fabric of Australian society
- To document the history of Sicilian migration to Australia.
- To promote Sicilian culture in Australia through education, literature, lifestyle, commerce and tourism.
- To establish links with Italian tourism, cultural, educational and commercial institutions.
